An Update on AIC Call Delivery Challenges
Phone companies across the country are using new tools to stop scam and robocalls. While these tools help protect people from unwanted calls, they can sometimes mistake legitimate AIC calls for spam. When that happens, a call may go straight to voicemail, be blocked, or not make the phone ring at all. Because these decisions are made by the receiving phone company, the same call may work one time and not the next.
ICSolutions is working with phone carriers and industry partners to improve call delivery and reduce these issues. We continue to monitor call performance, improve call identification, and work directly with carriers when legitimate AIC calls are incorrectly blocked. Our goal is to help ensure AICs can stay connected with their families and friends as reliably as possible.
What You Can Do
If you are having trouble receiving calls:
Check your phone’s spam or call-blocking settings.
Save the AIC calling number in your contacts.
Contact your mobile carrier and ask if the number is being blocked or marked as spam.
If you use a call-blocking app, add the number to your approved or safe caller list.
These simple steps can often help improve your ability to receive AIC calls.
