VISOR

Victim Information System in Oregon

The Victim Information System in Oregon (VISOR) is Oregon’s statewide automated notification system that helps victims and survivors stay informed about custody status changes of individuals incarcerated in Oregon.

VISOR allows registered users to receive notifications when certain changes occur, such as transfers, releases, and other custody updates.

How VISOR Helps

VISOR provides victims and survivors with timely information so they can stay informed and make decisions that support their safety and well-being.

With VISOR you can:

  • Receive automated notifications about custody changes
  • Choose how you receive notifications
  • Update your contact information at any time

Confidential and Secure

Your registration with VISOR is confidential. The individual in custody will not know that you have registered to receive notifications. VISOR is a free service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Registration is Required

VISOR is an opt-in service, which means you must register if you would like to receive notifications. Registration is not automatic.

When registering, you can choose one or more ways to receive notifications:

    • Phone
    • Text Message
    • Email
    • TTY

You may update or change your notification preference at any time.
