The Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) administers several Future Ready Oregon grants and grant-funded programs, including Workforce Ready Grants, Prosperity 10,000, Workforce Benefits Navigators, Postsecondary Career Pathway Training Program Grants, and Credit for Prior Learning Grants.

There are no active Future Ready Oregon Requests for Applications (RFAs) at this time.
The next and final rounds of competitive Workforce Ready Grant funding will be available on the HECC Grant and Contract Opportunities page in spring of 2024. This funding will be sector specific, advancing workforce and talent development in the healthcare, technology, and manufacturing sectors. The priorities for this funding will be informed by our Industry Consortia. Workforce Ready Grants invest in new and innovative education and training programs that center partnerships and collaboration – programs that approach workforce education and training differently, by identifying barriers to participation, program completion, and career advancement, and providing job-training participants with the supports and wraparound services they need to be successful.
