Board Members

Board appointment information

The Board has seven members: four Registered Landscape Architects and three public members. The Governor appoints each Board member and has the authority to remove any member for misconduct, incompetence, neglect of duty, or other valid reasons.

Eligibility requirements

All Board members must live in Oregon at the time of appointment. Registered Landscape Architects must hold active registration with the Board and be in good standing.

Term length and limits

Each term on the Board lasts four years, beginning July 1. Members generally cannot serve more than two consecutive four-year terms.
