Rules - Comments Requested

The Board recently adopted temporary rules, specifically a new rule addressing temporary military spouse registration and associated fee rule amendments to set fees for this new registration type.  The temporary rule action was taken to ensure compliance with new statutory mandates found in 2019 legislation, specifically Senate Bill 688 and House Bill 3030.  Click here to read the temporary administrative order, which includes the rule text and a statement of need.

Since temporary rules are only valid for 180 days, the Board also proposes to adopt permanent rules and invites public comment on this proposed rulemaking action.  Click here to read the rulemaking hearing notice, which includes the rule text showing amendments as well as the need and fiscal impact statement.  The comment deadline is close of business (5 PM) on 01/07/2020.  See the notice for details, or contact the Board office.
