  • ability to work as part of a team;.
  • commitment to customer service;
  • interest in matters related to community and environmental well-being
  • openness to people of varying abilities, backgrounds, and experiences;
  • a willingness to learn about the landscape architecture profession, although specific experience with the profession is not required;
  • ability to prepare for and attend meetings; and
  • willingness to assist, on a limited basis, with Board-related business that must be carried out between quarterly meetings.

Knowledge in areas such as accounting, project management, strategic planning, communications, or business operations can be helpful to service as a public member but is not required. The Board strongly encourages individuals from under-represented populations or geographic regions to consider this opportunity. All interested persons are welcome to apply.
