Advisory Council

About the Advisory Council

The purpose of the Oregon Talking Book and Braille Library's Advisory Council is to act as a fiscal and policy advisory group to the State Library Board, which includes recommending the annual donation fund budget to the Board for final approval.  The Advisory Council is also a space for members to share their experience as users and community partners on library-related topics so staff better understand what matters most to users and how best to approach library improvements or changes.

Membership on the Advisory Council is representative of those organizations and individuals having a direct interest in library services to print-disabled persons.  Members of the Advisory Council serve four year terms.  Regular meetings are scheduled for four times each calendar year.
