Programs & Learning
The National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) offers many different types of online events. Please visit the Patron Services and Events page for more information on things such as Braille On Demand, The Many Faces of BARD, and the Smart Speaking to the Smart Speaker programs.
The Talking Book and Braille Library is a proud participant in Summer
Reading! Each year there is a theme, incentive prizes, and grand prize
drawings. Sign-up today and side-step the "Summer Slide."
Each year students from across Oregon participate in the Battle of
the Books event, and students with print disabilities can enjoy reading
these titles as well. Talking Books has many of the titles on each
year's list in audio or in Braille, and if we don't have a title we can
help you connect with sources that do.
