The Board is now offering live virtual trainings for students at accredited Oregon counseling and marriage and family therapy programs leading to LPC or LMFT licensure.  We cover topics that include:

  • Recent Board initiatives
  • Licensing and compliance statistics
  • Licensure qualifications
  • Process to apply, including using the Applicant Portal
  • Helpful tips and pitfalls to avoid
  • Open Q&A
The recorded training video is available for viewing below and on the Board's YouTube channel for anyone who would like to view it. This video was designed for students approaching graduation and recent graduates preparing to apply for licensure.  For programs interested in having Board staff provide a brief introduction and Q&A in conjunction with the video training, please contact us via the form at the bottom of this webpage to submit the request.
