The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) is preparing for the future with our agency-wide strategic plan.
Our plan is a direct response to input we've received from the communities we serve. To learn more or if you have questions, please email us at odhs.communications@oregon.gov.
Our strategic plan was submitted to the Governor on May 31, 2024.
Our strategic plan goal areas are: equity, Tribal relationships, technology, data, workforce, operations and cross-agency collaboration. The plan is based on existing input from staff, partners and communities. It focuses on shoring up our foundations. This is largely internal work which will help us work together to serve people, communities, and Tribes better.
Community and staff will be engaged during the implementation of the plan, which started in June 2024. Thank you to the many staff and community members who offered their stories, feedback and ideas during the development of the plan.
As part of Governor Tina Kotek's work to improve customer service for Oregonians, agencies are required to develop and maintain information technology strategic plans. The first version of these plans was due on Dec. 31, 2024, and annual progress reports are required to be published.
