We're improving a two mile rough section of pavement on OR 18 by the OR 99W interchange along the south side of McMinnville. The repairs are needed to preserve the road, reduce maintenance costs and give you a smoother ride.
We are:
- Keeping the existing road alignment.
- Reviewing existing drains to make sure they are operating correctly.
- Removing and replacing the driving surface.
- Digging and repairing the road base in a few areas.
- Maintaining height for vehicles under existing overhead sign and signal crossings.
- Sidewalk infill on SW Baker Street between Booth Bend Road and Old Sheridan Road.
- Updating signs, bridge and guard rail where needed.
- Installing new permanent striping.
