What goes into the STIP?

We use the STIP to tackle the needs of Oregon's state transportation system, with a focus on asset preservation and user safety. We address key features like bridges, pavement, culverts, traffic signals and signs, and unstable slopes among others.

The STIP includes capital program funds:

  • Federal and state funds.
  • Construction projects on state and local roads.
  • Public and active transportation programs and projects.
