The Oregon State Board of Architect Examiners (OSBAE) provides reinstatement pathways for:
- architectural firms, and
- individual architects
whose Oregon Certificate of Registration has become inactive.

Determine Which Reinstatement Process Applies to You
Architectural Firm Reinstatement
Select this option if:
- your architectural firm’s Certificate of Registration is inactive, and
- the firm previously held registration with OSBAE.
Examples may include:
- corporations,
- limited liability companies (LLCs),
- partnerships,
- or assumed business names providing architectural services in Oregon.
Architectural firms that have been inactive for more than five years are required to reapply through the standard Architectural Firm Registration process.

Individual Architect Reinstatement
Select this option if:
- your individual architect registration is inactive, and
- you are seeking to restore your personal Oregon architect registration.
This reinstatement pathway applies to individual architects or firms.
Individual registrations inactive beyond five years are subject to reapplication requirements.
