Current Rulemaking Efforts
In Sept. 2025, the Board completed a rulemaking addressing military portability and petitions for review of criminal convinctions in relation to future registration. The changes are effective as of 09/30/2025. See the rule filing and response to public comment documents for more details.
In June 2025, the Board completed a rulemaking for the Board's Biennial Budget (809-010-0025) and Fees (809-010-0001). See the About the Board page of this website for details about the rulemaking and for the adopted budget and fees which went into effective July 1, 2025.
When the Board engages in rulemaking, documents and notices related to the rulemaking will either be posted here or the Board will provide a link here to access pertinent information located elsewhere on the Board's website.
