JJIS Users' Annual Security Agreement Review

The annual JJIS user security renewal process provides an opportunity for current JJIS, JJPS, and JPAS account holders to revisit and understand:

  • the importance of JJIS security, confidentiality and appropriate use;
  • the tools within JJIS for providing security; and
  • the security violation notification process.
The annual process is coordinated each year by OYA's JJIS Security Officer who provides direct communication to local JJIS Security Coordinators to share with their users.
Annual renewals of user security agreements are due by July 1 each year.

OYA staff are assigned a JJIS Security Review as an annual required course through the agency's learning management system.  The course includes interactive knowledge checks.

County JJIS Security Coordinators may adapt renewal processes that work best for non-OYA JJIS account holders,
