The public is entitled to a full, transparent understanding of the Oregon Youth Authority's operations. Our staff, partners, stakeholders, and elected officials also need this information to ensure they support and oversee the agency and hold it accountable to operating successfully.
To that end, we aim to capture information that offers insight into our operations. Where possible, we want to measure how we are doing our work, and the outcomes its producing. With this data, we aim to optimize our performance, hold ourselves accountable to operating with quality and integrity, and continuously improve. This has been a largely internal process, but we must be transparent with this information to bolster external oversight as well.
