Public Notice and Comment Opportunities

Oregon Coastal Management Program (OCMP) provides the public the opportunity to comment on federal actions, federal permits/licenses, and during planning efforts for ocean, estuarine, and shoreland resources.

Territorial Sea Plan Part 3: Rocky Shores Management Strategy

The states guiding framework for managing rocky habitat resources is being updated. Originally adopted in 1994, this strategy update will have many opportunities for public comment.

The State of Oregon invites all individuals, organizations, and governments to participate in this process so that all voices are heard!

November 15, 2018 - Notice is hereby given that the Oregon Coastal Management Program of the Oregon Department of Land Conservation & Development (DLCD), as provided in Section 307(c) of the Coastal Zone Management Act, is considering Requests for Exclusion from federal consistency review for Environmental Beneficial Activities in the Coastal Zone. June 13, 2018- Notice is hereby given that the DLCD is reviewing the following permit application for consistency with the Oregon Coastal Management Program: Flightner Oyster Plat in Netarts Bay. The project proposes to cultivate oysters on 5.57 acres.

June 6, 2018 – The federal Office of Coastal Management (OCM) has approved DLCD's submitted Routine Program Change request to incorporate updates to the City of Lakeside and the City of Siletz comprehensive plans and land use provisions, as well as Statewide Planning Goals 16 and 17 into the Oregon Coastal Management Program.
