License renewals

Expired licenses

Contact us for information on how to renew an expired license. License holders will need to retest if the license has been expired for more than one year.

Important: For renewal, the following contractor/business licenses require a list of employees conducting work under the license:

  • Limited Maintenance Specialty Contractor HVAC/R (LHR)
  • Restricted Energy Contractor (CRE)
  • Limited Maintenance Specialty Contractor (LMS)
  • Limited Pump Installation Specialty Contractor (CPI)
Use this form to submit the required employee list.

Online license renewals

All division-issued licenses are eligible for online renewal within 45 days of the expiration date. The expiration date is listed on the front of the license.
Renewal notices are mailed to the licensee's address on file 45 days prior to expiration.
