Resources Related to Accounts Receivable Management

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Committee members are accounts receivable representatives. Members discuss current collection practices, lessons learned, and best practices. Meetings provide opportunities for collaboration with peers and aids SWARM in developing strategies to improve management of receivables. ​

The flowchart and narrative documents included are examples of the account receivable process as reflected in Oregon Accounting Manual Chapter 35. Agency specific processes may vary. ​

​Year-end Accounts Receivable Report Training
The FY26 Year-end A/R training is now online. Access the training link by selecting the description that fits your agency.

Agencies that are part of the Workday enterprise.
Agencies that are not part of the Workday enterprise.  ie. Workday is not used for HR or the learning system.

The year-end A/R training is a requirement of the A/R Honor Roll and should be completed before submitting your data to the Legislative Fiscal Office (LFO) website​.


​​OAM Chapter 35 contains policies that directly relate to accounts receivable management. To view all policies included in the OAM, visit the Oregon Accounting Manual webpage. ​

Statewide Contracts for Debt Collection 

The Department of Administrative Services enters into statewide contracts with private collection firms to enable state agencies to procure debt collection services. To view the current list of statewide debt collection service contracts, log into OregonBuys and complete an award search using key words "debt collection".
