Oregon Natural Hazards Risk Assessment Upgrade

The Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) and the Oregon Department of Emergency Management (OEM) have upgraded the Oregon Natural Hazards Risk Assessment. This risk assessment is the factual foundation for the 2025 update to the Oregon Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan (NHMP) and guided development of the Oregon NHMP's updated risk reduction strategy.

The 2025-30 Oregon NHMP has been approved by FEMA and is effective from September 15, 2025 through September 14, 2030. It constitutes Volume 1 of the Oregon Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP), available on OEM's CEMP web page.

Wildfire Hazard Regulations: The Oregon NHMP risk assessment and maps are not regulatory.
