There is a significant gap between all the needs of Oregon's state highway system and what we're able to fund with STIP dollars. In order to make the most of the available funds, we must establish priorities for selecting projects.
Key Outcomes
For the 2027-2030 STIP, the Oregon Transportation Commission identified key outcomes in alignment with the
Oregon Transportation Plan -- the plan that sets the agency's vision and goals for the coming years. These include:
Safety.
State of Good Repair.
Access.
Mobility.
Climate.
Every project included in the 2027-2030 STIP delivers benefits to Oregonians in at least one of these five ways.
