Oregon Multifamily Energy Program

Legislative action in 2001 approved funding for the new Multifamily Energy Program (OR-MEP). Owners and developers can use funds to increase energy efficiency in multifamily housing. Improvements include:
  • Installing energy-efficient insulation
  • Windows
  • Appliances
  • Light fixtures
  • Other energy-reducing activities
This opportunity is now open to all income-eligible projects. NOFA and non-NOFA, participation is easier than ever. Three participation pathways offer flexible options we can tailor to each project’s needs.

We encourage developers of NOFA and OHCS bond-funded projects to leverage these weatherization funds. Developers can get a conditional reservation in advance of their NOFA application.
