Use the Board's online Public Register to search for information about registrations (licenses) and temporary permits issued by the Board. Board registration types are Geologist-in-Training (GIT), Registered Geologist (RG), and Certified Engineering Geologist (CEG). A registrant listed as a CEG also by default has a RG registration. The Board also issues Temporary Permits for limited duration practice in Oregon by geologists licensed outside of Oregon. Please be advised that the letter that displays in front of a registration number means: T = GIT, G = RG, E = RG/CEG, P = Temporary Permit.
You do not need to fill in all fields to conduct a search. You may search using one or more criteria. For example, you can search by status “active” to see all with current registrations, or you can narrow down your search by choosing additional criteria. Or you can search by one registration type such as CEG. Search results are exportable.
