DSLConnect Customer Portal

The Oregon Department of State Lands (DSL) is launching our new customer portal, DSLConnect, in November 2026. DSLConnect will modernize how DSL serves Oregonians—giving customers more transparency, access, and convenience in how they interact with the agency.

In preparation for the launch, staff are testing DSLConnect in summer 2026. During this time, customers may experience some delays in services. This testing period helps us identify and resolve issues early, ensuring that DSLConnect delivers faster, more reliable, and easier-to-access services once fully launched. We appreciate your patience as we work to provide you with a better customer experience.

What you can expect from DSLConnect?

DSLConnect will function like other modern platforms and is designed to reflect how customers use DSL services.

DSLConnect enables you, our customers, to:
  • submit and track permit applications
  • access records on demand, 24/7, and not bound by business hours
  • make payments online
The portal will also allow anyone to access certain permitting information online without needing to submit a public records request.

When will DSLConnect launch?

DSLConnect will launch in November 2026.

What support and guidance will be available for customers?

Before launch, DSL will provide Go‑Live announcements, how-to references and FAQs. After launch, DSL Support Services will be available for troubleshooting and account assistance. Dedicated onboarding support will be provided for current customers.

Why is DSL launching DSLConnect?
DSL’s current system is outdated and unavailable to customers. DSLConnect modernizes how individuals, businesses, agencies and Tribal Governments interact with DSL, improving transparency and convenience.

Will DSL services be impacted by the launch?

Yes. During user testing in summer 2026, customers may experience some service delays in permit application processing. DSL appreciates your patience as we work to ensure DSLConnect launches with as few bugs as possible.

I recently applied for a permit. Do I need to reapply through DSLConnect?

No. Permit applications that have not been fully processed will be automatically uploaded to DSLConnect. Our staff will continue to be available for support and questions as we integrate this exciting new tool into our collective ways of working.

What if I like the traditional methods of paper forms and phone calls?

Don't worry, you'll have a choice of how you work with DSL— via DSLConnect or traditional paper forms. Customers who prefer online can use the DSLConnect; customers who prefer personal interaction can still connect via existing traditional channels.
