ADA Transition Plan

ODOT Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Survey

Are you a person with a disability or a person with access or accommodation needs?

Are you a caregiver or a provider of services to people with disabilities?

If you answer to any of these is yes, the Oregon Department wants to hear from you!

The ODOT ADA Survey will help us learn from your experiences traveling and living your life in Oregon.  Your survey responses will inform the next update to our ADA Transition Plan.  The survey is anonymous and your answers are confidential.

For more information or assistance completing the survey, contact AskODOT at 1 (888) 275-6368.  We can help you with other options or arrange for someone to call you back - even on evenings and weekends.

2017 Transition Plan Overview

A fully inclusive transportation system is critical to fulfilling ODOT’s mission. Our plan to make Oregon’s transportation system accessible is detailed in our ADA Title II Transition Plan. This plan identifies physical obstacles that result in barriers to access to the transportation system.

The Oregon Department of Transportation's ADA Transition Plan includes:

  • Identification of those responsive for plan implementation.
  • Identification of physical barriers (obstacles) that limit accessibility to ODOT's programs and activities.
  • Description of the methods that will be used to make facilities accessible.
  • Development of a scheduled indicating the prioritization and timetable for making the respective modifications and/or removal or barriers.
