Lobbyist Training Requirement

Respectful Workplace Training

In 2019, Oregon Legislation passed House Bill 3377 which requires all lobbyists that were active lobbyists for any period during a year to complete a two-hour training presented by the Oregon Legislative Equity Office (LEO).

ORS 171.742 became effective on January 1, 2021 and requires all registered lobbyists to attend at least two hours of Respectful Workplace Training annually. Training is provided and governed by the Oregon State Legislature, Legislative Equity Office. Please refer to the Legislative Equity Office for questions and additional information regarding this requirement.

Training Reporting

Lobbyists are required to report their commitment to taking this training and enter the completion date of the training in EFS annually. Instructions for Reporting Respectful Workplace Training.
