OHCS requires partners to report their use of Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID)-certified and non-COBID firms that meet the criteria for MWESB/VBE to increase the participation of these firms in the development process. OHCS also encourages partners to provide information about becoming certified and the use of local labor and partnering with the community to help build healthy, affordable homes, which addresses OHCS’ goal of increasing apprenticeship or other training programs in Oregon and improvement economic and social vitality.
Reporting formsReporting MWESB/VBE use is a critical component of our agency work to center equity and racial justice in our funding efforts. It is required for all projects funded in 2021 and later. We encourage volunteer reporting for projects funded in 2020 and earlier. You can find a copy of the form in your work center.
