Overview

The State of Oregon and the Marine Board want everyone to have fair access to our information and services. A big part of this effort is making sure our website, documents, and technology are easy for everyone to use. Many of our forms and publications in the Forms Library are still being updated to meet accessibility standards. Older forms and publications that have outdated information, use old formats, or cannot be fixed for accessibility are available on this page.

Oregon's accessibility standards follow Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA guidelines and success criteria.

How we are improving digital accessibility

  • Making documents accessible, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Online forms, and all other document formats
  • Providing alternative text on images
  • Including captions for all live and pre-recorded video files on our YouTube Channel and social media sites.
  • Providing transcripts for all pre-recorded audio files.
  • Creating website pages that have:
    • Easy navigation for screen readers and keyboard use
    • Simple fonts and high-contrast colors to improve readability
