UScellular Notice to Lifeline Customers
Background
The federal government has approved the sale of UScellular's wireless operations and certain spectrum licenses and leases to T-Mobile. Effective August 1, 2025, your UScellular account will be transferred to T-Mobile automatically on your current plan for a limited time. Please see below.

Current Status of Lifeline Discount
UScellular will stop providing your Oregon Lifeline discount of up to $19.25 on August 1, 2025, which is when the transaction will close.
T-Mobile does not participate in the Oregon Lifeline program. However, T-Mobile will provide you with an equivalent of the Oregon Lifeline discount of up to $19.25 for a minimum of 45 days after the close of the transaction.
