Project Updates:
10/15/2025: We provided a sneak peek of the Public Portal on 9/26/2025 to external stakeholders. There were 33 external stakeholders in attendance representing different utilities, law offices, and advocates.
We continue to work on orders/rulings/memoranda, closing a docket, the public portal, automated notifications, and data migration from the current BizApps system to the new Valence system.
We completed penetration testing of the public portal and the internal system. Penetration testing is a simulated cyberattack on a system to identify vulnerabilities that could be exploited by malicious actors. We will be reviewing the final report and remediate any findings from this testing.
6/26/2025: We completed configuration work on filing forms. The features already configured in the system for internal users: creating a Docket, filing into a docket, scheduling public meetings, adding agenda items to public meetings, agenda approval for public meetings, publishing public meetings, calendaring events withing a docket, creating and editing service and staff lists, assigning dockets, record retention, discovery, confidential information management, and contacts for individuals and organizations.
Public Portal is under construction. Certain features are available: creating accounts, viewing public meeting schedules and agendas, and submitting filings.
We are still working on: Creating orders/rulings/memoranda, closing a docket, data migration from the current BizApps system to the new Valence, developing user guides, and planning for User Acceptance Testing.
3/10/2025: We are amid our configuration work. We’ve completed work on specific filing forms; and we have the filing, creating new docket, filing acceptance; and assign processes configured. We are currently working on the process of creating the public meeting agenda and will be working on the calendar and retention processes for the rest of this month. There is a lot of work to do in a compressed time. We will be asking for and greatly appreciating your input.
