What is OregonConnect?

OregonConnect is the state of Oregon's enterprise-wide solution for web-meeting and virtual classroom delivery.

Why is OregonConnect a value added service to state government?

OregonConnect saves the state money by providing a tool to conduct virtual trainings and meetings.  Millions of dollars in travel and time has been saved by staff who attend these virtual sessions from their desks or local offices versus having to travel to a physical meeting location.

What are users saying about OregonConnect?

  • "Our Board has members from all across the state.  Typically, these members travel long distances and in some cases stay overnight just to attend a one day Board meeting.  OregonConnect has allowed our remote Board members to attend meetings from their local offices/homes - dramatically reducing the cost to conduct our Board business."
  • "OregonConnect allows me to record virtual training sessions, which I then offer in iLearnOregon to anyone interested in viewing the recorded training."
  • "I manage a group of employees who do not all work in a single, physical location.  I can now conduct my weekly team meetings using OregonConnect and avoice the costs of employees traveling to a central office to attend our team meeting."
