| Overview |

| Construction |
Includes all activities, and contract/contractor management of those activities, related to the implementation of highway and other transportation facility projects, and ends with final inspection ensuring compliance with the approved plans, specifications, permits, and other pertinent approvals.

| Pre-Construction Meeting |
Prior to mobilization, a meeting is typically held with ODOT and Contractor staff (including all sub-contractors), where all the plans, environmental permits, agreements, and specifications for the project are thoroughly discussed. Sometimes environmental training is implemented as well, which may be done periodically throughout construction as is warranted.
