Cynthia Cunningham
Cynthia Cunningham
In addition to a 30-year career at Oregon Health Sciences University at the schools of dentistry and medicine and in library administration as Head of Access Services until her retirement in 2007, Cynthia Cunningham has served as a public member on the Physical Therapist Licensing Board from 2001-09 and on the Ethics and Legislative Committee for the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy since 2007.
Ms. Cunningham currently volunteers at Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and OASIS Intergenerational Tutoring.
She earned a Master's of Public Administration from Portland State University in Portland and a Bachelor's of Arts in English Literature from St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN.
"During my public service, I've been very impressed with the dedication of the participating health professionals focused on public protection," says Ms. Cunningham.  "Conversely, I believe they have appreciated the perspective I bring as a public member to this mandate."
