| Russ Hanson |
|
Mr. Russ Hanson has worked in the environmental health field for more than 30 years, serving as Director of Environmental Health in Crook County since 1993.
He held environmental health positions with the U.S. Army since 1969, including consultant to the Surgeon General of the Army; the Army Environmental Hygiene Agency, Edgewood Arsenal, MD; and Chief of Preventive Medicine and Occupational Health at Fort Devens, MA, and Natick Labs, MA.
Mr. Hanson earned a Bachelor's of Science degree from Oregon State University in 1969 and a Master's of Environmental Health from East Tennessee State University in 1985.
"Most of my professional life has been in the environmental field," says Mr. Hanson. "My goal is to assure the profession stays focused on the issues of most importance."
