Weisha Mize
Weisha Mize
Weisha Mize is an Enforcement/Compliance Officer with the Construction Contractors Board and has been a member of the Oregon State Bar since 1982.
 
Ms. Mize served as an Administrative Law Judge for the Oregon Water Resources Department and Commission from 1987-2002 and with the Office of Administrative Hearings from 2000-02, Legal Counsel to the Umatilla Indian Tribes from 1985-87 and as Director of the Oregon State Bar's Affirmative Action Program from 1984-85.
 
She also worked for Legal Aid on a fellowship from Howard University in Dakota Plains, SD from 1982-83, and in Eugene from 1983-84. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor's of Science in Political Science, followed by a Juris Doctorate.
 
"I am a permanent color art consumer, as are quite a number of my friends and co-workers," says Ms. Mize.  "It is clear that this is a rapidly growing field, which brings with it issues of health and safety as well as qualification and skill."
