Board Member Biography
Debra Patterson
Ms. Patterson has worked in the juvenile justice field for 30 years.  The first 10 years she served as a probation counselor, carrying a caseload of felony and misdemeanor probationers, as well as assisting in protective service investigations and handling dependency cases.
Since 1987, Ms. Patterson has served as the director of the Crook County Juvenile Department.  In 2003, she  participated on the steering committees for two sex offender management grants to the Oregon Youth Authority/ODDA and to Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson counties.
She is a member of the Crook County Commission on Children and Family; Oregon Juvenile Department Director’s Association Treasurer; Past Chair of The Central and Eastern Oregon Juvenile Justice Consortium; member of the Governor’s Public Safety Committee; and a board member of Juvenile Court Resources.  She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon.
