Standard Specifications Update
ODOT has paused work on the planned 2027 update to the Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction. The agency is currently coordinating an update to the 2024 General Terms and Conditions, which requires additional development time, and we expect the next Oregon Standard Specification for Construction book to be released for use in 2028.
ODOT will continue using the 2024 Standard Specifications for Construction and associated 2024 Boilerplate Special Provisions until the new book is finalized. Hard copy sales for the 2028 edition are not expected to begin until July 1, 2027.
