Real Estate Sales and Proposed Purchases

The Home Start Lands (HB2316) Rules Advisory Committee (RAC) is currently helping develop proposed rules which will be open for public comment once drafted. Information on the RAC meetings is displayed on the DAS Rulemaking website, where the draft rules will also be posted. The Home Start Lands program allows the department to designate certain state-owned or locally nominated lands as "home start" lands for affordable housing development. The RAC is also reviewing draft changes to the existing rules for the purchase or sale of state real property to implement portions of HB4037.
