CHRO Policy Review Project

On a biennial basis, CHRO policies are reviewed to identify appropriate updates to policy language and ensure consistency between overlapping policy topics. Feedback is then gathered from interested parties throughout the review process and considered prior to finalizing, publishing and distributing policies. It takes approximately five months for each policy to make it through the full review process.

2026 Project Overview

The 2026 policy review project will kick-off in December 2025 and conclude in December 2026. 

Each of the 66 CHRO policies have been divided into four review "windows." The start of each window will be staggered two months apart in order to complete the full five-month review process of each policy by the project end date.
