Employing Private Security Professionals

Employers of Private Security Professionals in Oregon must have the following:


1.  At least one person must be licensed at the level of Executive Manager*.
    *An executive manager is not required to reside in the State of Oregon.

2.  The Executive Manager must ensure all individuals providing private security services are certified              or licensed as a private security provider.

3.  Be in compliance with Oregon Administrative 259 Division 59.

A business is not required to have a physical office in Oregon to provide private security or alarm monitoring in Oregon.
