The Private Security Program offers two options for completing the required manager course to obtain the Supervisory or Executive Manager License. The application process is specific to the course you attend. Please see below for additional information.
Live Virtual Manager Course Information:
To attend a live virtual course, find a class date on the class calendar and include the date you would like to attend on the Form PS-1 or Form PS-21 in the training date section of the application form. You will need to submit a complete application packet to be registered for the live virtual course.
On-Demand Manager Course Module and Exam:
The online consists of a module and a final exam. In order to get credit for passing this training you will need to complete this module to earn a certificate of completion. Then you must complete and pass the final exam to earn a second certificate of completion.
You must print both of these certificates and include them both with your Executive Manager or Supervisory Manager application packet. The online manager course is an available option for all new applicants; however, the online manager course is only available to renewing applicants one time. Renewing applicants are required to take to the instructor led live virtual course for each renewal period thereafter.
