The Oregon Department of Transportation has taken on an initiative, supported by the Federal Highway Administration, to institutionalize small unmanned aircraft systems, or sUAS, within ODOT.
One aspect of this initiative is to get a sense of what other organizations within the region are doing in relation to sUAS. Our goal is to create a list of organizations, allowing us to easily disseminate sUAS information as well as learn more about the needs of our region's sUAS community and where we can help. For example, we are hosting a sUAS peer exchange in 2020. We'd like to include other organizations that would benefit from the experience of others.
To get the ball rolling, we have a few questions we'd like to ask.
