OHCS is preparing its 2027-29 Agency Request Budget (ARB). Developing a successful legislative agenda is an ongoing collaborative process between agency staff and leadership, partners, the Governor’s Office, and others.

The 2027-29 biennium will be a different fiscal environment than recent cycles. However, OHCS is dedicated to continued improvement and invite collective creativity and bold thinking that reflect our values. The agency is seeking partner input on:

Ideas for budget-neutral solutions that maintain current service levels,
Opportunities to streamline and improve outcomes for Oregonians we serve, and
Creative solutions that don’t require new General Fund resources.
