Advisory List*:

​The Agriculture Workforce Housing Facilitation Team (AWHFT) meets regularly to discuss current issues around farmworker housing, resources available for developing farmworker housing, and how to address the needs of farmworkers in Oregon.​

By Oregon statute, OHCS's role is to help facilitate, create a forum, and provide a place for the team to meet and discuss issues affecting farmworkers in Oregon.

​In 2019, the Oregon Legislature passed House Bill 2003 to provide the necessary steps toward helping our state reach its housing supply needs as envisioned by our land use system, while providing local jurisdictions the resources they need to accommodate future growth.

The Housing Choice Advisory Committee​​ is made up of representatives of landlords, tenants, and public housing authorities.

The committee advises the department with respect to matters of interest and concern regarding the Housing Choice Voucher Program; Discuss and share best practices for maximizing participation by landlords and tenants in the Housing Choice Voucher Program; and Develop strategies and outcome measures for gauging the effectiveness of the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

​The Oregon Disaster Housing Task Force operates under the direction of Oregon Housing and Community Services, specifically as a subcommittee to the Emergency Support Function 5 (ESF 5) Planning Team within the Office of Emergency Management.

Oregon Disaster Housing Task Forc​e ​​ 

The Oregon Affordable Housing Assistance Corporation (OAHAC) was an Oregon nonprofit public benefit corporation that has now been dissolved. The primary purpose of OAHAC was to administer programs, such as the Oregon Housing Stabilization Initiative (OHSI), targeted to help prevent or mitigate the impact of foreclosures on low and moderate income persons, to help stabilize housing markets in Oregon, to provide resources for affordable or subsidized housing and to develop and administer programs related to housing permitted under the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, as amended ("EESA"), and act as an institution eligible to receive Troubled Asset Relief Program Funds under EESA.​

Previsously known as the COVID-19 Statewide Homeless Populations Task Force; the Oregon Statewide Unhoused Response & Recovery Network for COVID-19 and Wildfires​ was created to provide a statewide platform for strategizing, information sharing, and collaboration, guidance and resource attainment to support local communities in mitigating the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on homeless populations.​
