Welcome to Food and Nutrition Services

Located in the Clatterbuck building, The Food and Nutrition Department provides meals for all OSD residential and day students including breakfast, lunch and dinner, meals for students with special dietary needs, as well as snacks for the residential students, as well as meals to the Charter schools on our campus.
Each day we offer a variety of healthy meal selections including a full salad and fresh fruit bar are offered to students every day.
Additionally, there are many special events held throughout the school year around campus. The Nutrition Services staff is there to cater these events with thoughtful, professional menus and attention to detail.

Currently, OSD students are not charged for any meals

Menus:

Our school participates in the National School Lunch/Breakfast Programs run by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). All of the food served at OSD meet or exceed the strict USDA standards and comply with the Oregon Child Nutrition Policies. Our Dietician approved menu follows recipes that have lower cholesterol and healthier choices. We purchase premium ingredients for our healthy, balanced meals and our salad bar.
Our Breakfast and Lunch menus meet or exceed all current USDA requirements. We proudly offer locally sourced, seasonal fruits and vegetables and scratch cook most of our food.
At Dinner, our Residential students are offered additional choices. We try to keep the menu current with student’s tastes, and offer new and unusual foods that students might not be familiar with, or have tried before. We believe that nutritious food should be healthy, fun, AND delicious.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written
description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the  ssistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
