Each youth at Camp Florence has an account that family can add money to. Only people who are on the youth’s approved visitors or phone lists may put money on their account.
Youth can use this money for hygiene products, clothing, food, going to the movies, and related items. Staff work with youth to teach them responsible spending and budgeting habits.
You may not give money directly to your child. You can add money to your youth’s account in two ways:
- In person at visitation. You must give it to visitation staff as you arrive. We accept money orders or checks only.
- Through the mail. Checks or money orders only — no cash.
Checks and money orders should be made out to OYA, with the youth’s name in the “memo” line. We cannot accept checks made out to the youth.
