Volunteer or Donate

Volunteers are an important part of the MacLaren campus. We offer numerous opportunities for volunteers to provide services, work with youth, or donate items.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer through OYA, you first need to fill out our online volunteer application and go through a background check.

Here are just some examples of the types of volunteer or donations opportunities at MacLaren:
  • Mentoring or tutoring
  • Leading small activity groups
  • Assisting with campus events
  • Donating books, holiday gifts, celebratory meals, or games
  • Hope Partnership: Hope provides numerous classes, events, and workshops to help youth explore their talents and prepare for their eventual transition back into the community. Contact: Kathleen Fullerton, 503-982-4445
  • Project POOCH: This dog training program teaches youth responsibility and good work habits as they train and care for shelter dogs.
