Each youth at Riverbend has an account that family and friends can add money to. Only people who are on the youth’s approved contact list may put money on their account.
The money from this account can be used to purchase items in the facility’s canteen, during town trips, online, or even to pay for post-secondary education or work experience opportunities.
You can add money to your youth's account by sending a check or money order in the mail. Please make the check out to Oregon Youth Authority with your youth’s name on the memo line.
You may not give money directly to your youth.
