REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS

Youth Development Oregon is excited to announce the OPENING of the Request for Applications (RFA) for the 2023-25 Reengagement Collaborative Grant (RCG). This grant will fund system-level change initiatives to support local youth reengagement and workforce opportunities, while strengthening Oregon's’ Statewide Youth Reengagement System.
Grant funds are designed to support locally based system change efforts to remove barriers, provide opportunities, and increase access for eligible youth across a defined service area, while also supporting a larger zone-based collaborative network for reengaged youth. The ideal grantee will have broad local support for system change work across all youth systems, including education, and ability to convene and support larger collaborative efforts within the defined Reengagement Zone. System change efforts are required to connect community–based providers to support youth ages 14 – 24 who have left or are at risk of leaving school, without earning a high school diploma or GED credential, with their education and workforce success.
Eligible applicants include all current 2023-2025 YDO Reengagement Opportunity, Future Ready Oregon, and Workforce Readiness grant awardees. Other interested organizations should review Section 1.3 “Eligibility” to determine eligibility as defined for this RFA.
Prospective applicants should attend the upcoming pre-application conference listed below on Wednesday, December 6, beginning at 11:00am. Applicants must affirm that they attended and/or viewed the pre-application conference recording when they complete their applications, as outlined in Section 1.3 and 1.4 of the RFA.

The Youth Development Oregon currently has 3 Request for Applications (RFA) OPEN as part of our 2023-25 Youth Grants Portfolio. These RFAs are specially designed to aid in supporting youth ages 6 – 24 in their educational and workforce success, including high school/GED completion with specific requirements and eligibility outlined in each RFA. Please review all published RFA materials prior to submitting an application in the YDD SM Apply application portal. All application materials must be submitted as outlined in RFA materials in the SM Apply application portal and meet minimum requirements to be considered.
Dates specific to each RFA are outlined and updated in the published RFA Materials and Amendments. Dates and times listed in the table below are for your convenience, but subject to change in accordance with the specific RFA. Prospective Applicants should refer to the posted RFA Materials and Amendments to ensure they are meeting all timelines and requirements as outlined in the specific RFA.
