About Classification and Compensation


The Classification and Compensation unit is responsible for maintaining the state's compensation plan for approximately 40,000 employees in classified, unclassified, and management service positions. The unit is also responsible for development and maintenance of the classification system.

Current Classification Studies

For information on the Management Classification and Compensation Review, please see

The CnC staff will be holding workshops to help agencies with their allocation questions. 
These workshops will be recurring every other Tuesday from 1-5 pm effective 3/3/15 until 3/31/15

Please bring PD’s/PDQ’s and organizational charts for any positions you have questions on.
